#SMUGMUG WALLET SIZ EPHOTOS PLUS#
Plus - learning with what I got and taking pictures is the fun of photography not just upgrading equipment every year. I have no doubt that G9/G7 are excellent cameras but when the G9 came out, I had to wonder about all the negativity of the light leaks of the LCD, the slower shutter lag and/with an external flash and still the loss of the flip LCD - I was just going to stick with what I got. Still have to learn them and learn to trust them. I can trust the images that I get from it. I really don't believe the images are superior to the Pro1 Like the IS and the face recognition and the automatic red-eye

The G9 is a very small, cool and feature rich camera. I have used Smugmug but found out that was redunant and really prefer Pbase.

Well if you need a free one, flickr is free and good for uploading a few.īecause of my ISP provider, I get free 'Pro' flickr account and have that as an alternative backup besides my Pbase. One of these days I'llĬorrect that little problem, so stay tuned. Set up yet, so can't yet post pictures again. To my photo site expire when we moved and haven't gotten a new one I'm ashamed to say that I let my subscription Well when your grandkids come, you can shoot pictures but better yet, since you live in Utah, you should have plenty of landscape opportunities.Īs far as pictures. You got a G9 and a 40D? WoW! I think if my 350D ever gave out, I'd start looking at the 40D. Mine are all adults now with families of their own. LOL well sometimes my kids say I am a meanie mommy.īut I am just me and being on CTF for many years, I have seen many nice people so I guess that is why I keep logging in. Thank you Dale for your views on the G9 vs the Pro1. well I still have to learn them and learn to trust them. The Pro1 never fails me, and I can trust the images that I get from it. As you may remember I have two Pro1's and I will always keep them. I really don't believe the images are superior to the Pro1 though, but they are pretty darn good. I particularly like the IS and the face recognition and the automatic red-eye removal. In the meantime I'll keep on enjoying yours. One of these days I'll correct that little problem, so stay tuned.

Yup and here is one of the kids enjoying dying eggs last night. This plant is pretty amazing.you can't kill it! I like this but the fact you had this twenty years, is even a better & lastly a HDR closeup image from the Pro1 of a twenty year oldĪfrican Violet that blooms every spring. Yeah, that's why i shoot in RAW & correct the WB later. Here's a quick Crocus shot I took with the 30D & 28-135IS.īeautiful of course and the purple I think are hard to get with the Yes absolutely and I am already tired on my second day on Spring Great shots & the kids look happy to get a break, LoL!
